Bad Omens & Too Close To Touch Perform “Sympathy” (Live in Nashville)

Earlier this year on March 26th, 2022 – my friend Keaton Pierce passed away suddenly and unexpectedly due to a medical condition he had been dealing with privately.

Keaton sang in a band called Too Close To Touch, and was a close friend of ours ever since the summer of 2017 on Vans Warped Tour where we first met and spent so many nights together.

In addition to being my friend, he was someone I greatly admired as an artist, and he inspired me and the way I sing, and the way I make music to this day.

To keep his memory and the impact his art had on our band alive we’ve been playing their song Sympathy every night of this tour. While every night this is a very special part of the set – this night in particular was even more special because we were able to get all of the other members of TCTT, past and present, together again in Nashville, TN to perform “Sympathy” one more time.

I’d like to thank Kenny, Mason, Travis, and Thomas for coming and playing with us, and for allowing us to honor Keaton in this way on this tour.”
