Cyclone Mandous Aftermath: Large Tree Uproot In Chennai, Tamil Nadu

Life in Chennai was thrown into disarray when storm ‘Mandous’ wreaked havoc. On December 10, a big tree in Chennai’s Nungambakkam region was uprooted by severe winds. As storm ‘Mandous’ caused devastation, similar instances were reported in a number of other regions. A tree in Chennai’s Egmore neighbourhood was also uprooted, in addition to Nungambakkam. Close to 95 trees were uprooted in Chennai due to heavy rains caused by the cyclone
